Regional Summer Sessions 

Our regional camps are all about creating community, building ones faith, and developing important core values. Each camper will not only experience the great outdoors but will discover who God is and will leave empowered by the hope of Christ. Camp Hoblitzelle offers a number of regional camps for different age groups and experiences. Please take some time and discover which camp fits best for your child and remember to review all information for the BEST SUMMER EVER!

Base Camps

Ages 7 - 14; minimum age of 7 or entering 2nd grade

Overnight Camp sessions run from Monday to Saturday. Each week offers an action-packed overnight experience for 7-14 year olds. Our age-specific approach provides recreation and teaching appropriate for each camper and a new experience every year! Each day is filled with fun activities, Bible teaching, and plenty of adventure in the great outdoors.

Base Camp 1 ->  June 10 - 15

Base Camp 2 ->  June 24 - 29

Base Camp 3 ->  July 1 - 6 

Base Camp 4 -> July 8 - 13

Jr. Conservatory | June 10 - 15

Ages 7 - 11; minimum age of 7 or entering 2nd grade

Jr. Conservatory is a week-long program for up to 80 children ages 7-11. Conservatory is an intensive program to train young people in the arts so they can be used for worship. Our ultimate aim is for everyone, students and staff alike, to deepen their relationship with Christ. During this week campers work in a brass band, learning a camp musical which is performed at the end of the camp graduation.

Sr. Conservatory | June 17 - July 15

Ages 12 - 17; minimum age of 12 or

entering 7th grade

The Texas Senior Conservatory of Music and Arts is a three week program. Conservatory is an intensive program to train young people in the arts so they can be used for worship. Our ultimate aim is for everyone, students and staff alike, to deepen their relationship with Christ. Conservatory features seven majors that focus on elements of worship: Brass, Percussion, Guitar, Piano, Dance and more. Each day is filled with music electives, Bible study, recreational time and student recitals.

TYMI | June 17 - 22

Ages 7 - 17; minimum age of 7

or entering 2nd grade

TYMI is a great option for those new to Salvation Army or nervous about their first time at music camp. Campers will not only enjoy music and art classes but will be able to experience all Hoblitzelle has to offer. First timers will have the chance to try new things from instrumental choices to learning dance routines. We also offer an Outdoor Education major for those not interested in music but who will still gain exposure to the arts. TYMI is filled with fun and new experiences.

Teen Camp | July 15 - 19

Ages 13 - 17 

Inspired and empowered our teens learn to work together, try new skills, gain better decision making and conflict resolution skills, while discovering something new about themselves. Campers will also experience a packed week of camp activities such as swimming, challenge course, action archery, teams games, and our crazy fun night events! We invite teens to escape from the normal, hang out with new friends, be mentored by college students and spend a week away in a faith based community where we encourage to develop confidence, discernment, solidify their beliefs and dig deep in Bible study.

Boys & Girls Club Military Families | July 8 - 13

Ages 7 - 14; minimum age of 7 or entering 2nd grade

The MISSION : Youth Outreach partnership supports kids and teens, ages 7 -14, by creating a positive, supportive network. Through this partnership, dependent youth of active-duty, National Guard and Reserve families are eligible to receive a free summer camp experience with a *Boys & Girls Club.

*Additional membership, transportation, summer camp and/or field trip fees may apply at some locations.
