REGISTER FOR
CAMP HOBLITZELLE

Camp Hoblitzelle is owned and operated by The Salvation Army (TSA). All registrations for Summer Camp are handled through the local Salvation Army Corps (Churches) and Service Extension Units (Salvation Army Service Extensions units are located across states in areas where there are no Salvation Army churches). If you are not sure how to contact your local Salvation Army, please visit our Salvation Army South Website and use the location tool to search for your nearest location.

Upon registering your child to attend Summer Camp, you will need to connect with your local Salvation Army. You will then be directed to submit an online application through our registration platform AdminiCamp. Once your local Salvation Army receives the application, you will contacted with more information on camp sessions available, transportation and more.

COMING TO CAMP!

Parent Guide

We know there is a lot to do to get prepared and we believe getting ready should be PART of the FUN – for you AND your camper! We want to make sure that parents & guardians can rest knowing that camper will have an easy and fun transition into camp, especially if it's their first time.

Here at Hoblitzelle our goal is to help you grow in your faith and have fun while you're doing it! So, here's our advice on how to prep your camper for a week of adventure at camp!

WHAT TO PACK

Packing with your child is an excellent opportunity to build excitement about camp and to talk about any anxieties or concerns your camper may have about their upcoming camp experience.

What to Pack?

Use the checklist when you pack. Once you are all packed, tuck the checklist in your camper’s luggage and instruct them to use it when they pack their stuff up at the end of the week. Please remember - we are an electronics free zone.

If You Are Bringing Medications to Camp

All medications remain with and are dispensed by our Medical Staff. Please pack your medications so they are easy to find in your luggage. More information can be found in the Health & Safety section.

BED BUGS & LICE.

The unwelcome guests at camp! With the high volume of guests that are come and go, we take many proactive steps to prevent them from showing up. We train our staff to look for signs of bed bugs, and we inspect for bed bugs between every camp session and all resident guests at camp undergo a lice check as part of their initial medical screening.

But we can’t do it without you! To ensure these pests don’t come to our camp from your home we recommend screen your camper the week before camp.
