ABOUT US.
Camp Hoblitzelle’s primary purpose is to reach youth with the gospel of Jesus Christ through a quality Christian camping experience. This is achieved through programs which provide campers with an environment to learn and practice Christ-like principles and to see Christ’s love demonstrated. Our mission, our philosophy, our core values, and our efforts all focus on investing fully in each individual child.
Each summer our goal is to connect to kids using our core values, provide choice-based activities, give opportunities to strengthen decision-making skills, and build self-confidence, all while enjoying God’s creation, the great outdoors!
It is Camp Hoblitzelle's desire that children and adults from all walks of life can experience and know Christ’s love for them, so that they will be encouraged and connected to a Christian community and ultimately a life-long faith.
Base Camps
Overnight Camp sessions run from Monday to Saturday. Each week offers an action-packed overnight experience for 7-14 year olds. Our age-specific approach provides recreation and teaching appropriate for each camper and a new experience every year! Each day is filled with fun activities, Bible teaching, and plenty of adventure in the great outdoors.
Music & Arts Conservatory
The Salvation Army Camp Hoblitzelle offers a unique 4 week ministry where 12-17 year olds are invited to participate in Music & Arts Conservatory! Campers will take part in intensive training in their specific art with time for traditional camp experiences, exciting night events & an opportunity to grow in their faith.
